Discussion of Idea or New Project
    1. Full Project Development

A Full Project Development is a design taken from conception to final production. This can include the Electrical Design, Schematic, Printed Circuit Board and Prototype construction.

  • (NDA) Nondisclosure Agreement
  • A Nondisclosure Agreement which can be Emailed for signing to protect your intellectual property.

  • Design Start
  • A Design Start discussion/meeting should be scheduled for discussion of the projects feasibility. If the project requires other services such as Mechanical design and/or high level Software design, coordinating of schedules must take place with all involved.

  • Design Review
  • Once feasibility has been established, a Product Specification Document (PSD) detailing all of the requirements and specifications the design must meet. Quoting the project cost can be performed once the PSD is available. Some of the basic project requirements are as follows.

    1. PCB Mechanics: Surface Mount or Leaded parts, Multiboard Breakaway Panels and Board Thickness.
    2. Specification for Special Parts: Any parts other than standard Resistors, Capacitors, IC'c, ect will need PCB library parts created.
    3. Firmware/Software: What type of Microcontroller will be used, Will onboard programming access, JTAG,ect. be required.
    4. Operating Temperature: Commercial 0 to +70 deg C. or Industrial -40 to +85 deg C.
    5. Prototyping: Required prototype quantity, Construction, manual build or factory build.

      2. Partial Project Development

Certain specified steps can be performed for project development. For example, an existing project needing a PCB design and/or prototype for a design. Existing designs can be modified to meet the needs of a new project.
